Quite a productive and well attended meeting this afternoon, Sunday, October 1, to keep the fight going to Stop $30 Land Deals and reform the Arvada Urban Renewal Authority (AURA).
A strategic part of the effort is to encourage Wheat Ridge city council to support their voters and appeal the misguided decision of district court judge Margie Enquist that invalidated their Urban Renewal charter amendment upon which the Protect Arvada Taxpayers measure was modeled.
It was also emphasized that it is time to make city council candidates take a stand for the Arvada taxpayer and pledge to work for reform of AURA!
